We are looking for a dynamic, experienced medical device sales professional with a substantial will to win to join our team as we continue in our growth as the leading respiratory diagnostics company in the world.

As the RDx US VP Commercial, you will be responsible for leading the sales, service & clinical training teams to above market growth through transformation of the team and the sales process by instilling a culture of personal accountability.

This is a critical leadership position, responsible for streamlining and accelerating our Respiratory Diagnostics sales channels, for both capital and consumables, while ensuring alignment with field service and installation teams. You will also be responsible for developing a sales channel structure and go-to-market strategy for the US, while developing the management team and instilling in them a hunger to win as you lead a team to outperform standards and deliver results.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

  • Drive the design, development, and transformation of the current organization into a high-performance sales force delivering above market growth through differentiated service and support of our customer base

  • Establish clear performance standards, driving a core culture of quota attainment among the sales team and managers – which align to the RDx Corporate Objectives

  • Work with the CEO of RDX to set goals and objectives (MITs) to establish quotas and compensation plans that drive the intended behaviors and incentivize performance

  • Design, develop and implement an organizational structure and go-to-market plan that fully optimizes our revenue and gross margin potential of non-acute center sales environments such as Hospitals and Respiratory Clinics, Athletic Training Centers, and Primary Care Physician Offices

  • Engage at the highest level with key stakeholders in GPO & IDN hospital groups to win contracts and grow share

  • Develop and implement specific go-to-market plans that strategically focuses on driving capital sales while improving the attach rate of consumables, software, and service contracts

  • Build and develop a sales management team, install appropriate sales pipeline monitoring and reporting capabilities for the KPIs needed to provide account level oversight, support, and intervention in the execution of the right tasks that deliver the desired results

  • Collaborate cross functionally with the Respiratory Diagnostics Leadership Team to create and implement sales strategies, service programs, and promotional plans

  • Recruit, hire, and retain sales and service talent focused on achieving collective revenue objectives - identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities following a prescribed sales process and cadence of activities

  • Provide direct feedback to the various platform teams as well as other functions to ensure awareness of critical information pertaining to value prop, product performance challenges, competitive landscape, etc.

  • Actively manage the Regional Sales managers and their prospective sales pipelines, accurately forecasting revenues and identifying mitigation plans to offset any shortfalls

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who have the following required experience:

  • 10 years’ experience coaching and developing sales managers to improve productivity of their respective teams through clearly defined expectations, tracking and monitoring activities and resulting revenues, hiring talent and retaining high-performance reps

  • 10 years’ experience navigating complex administrative hierarchies and complicated internal relationships at large healthcare systems including GPOs and IDNs

  • 10 years’ experience managing a field service organization in conjunction with a field sales team

  • Territory P&L ownership

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • A passion to understand current and prospective customers’ business needs in a way that aligns our solutions with their needs to create value, improve patient outcomes and meet/exceed Vyaire business goals

  • Self-starter with ability to perform effectively during times of ambiguity, rapid change, and growth.

  • Strong operational mindset with specific experience of selling through a portfolio transformation over a 24-month period

  • Persistence and Resilience to work through a sales organization and sale process transformation

  • Proven experience driving significant improvements with a team and business

Essential Function Requirements : Credentialing: Employee shall secure and maintain the credentials required by Vyaire Medical and its customers. Securing those credentials may require mandatory vaccinations and other tests. (If employee is unwilling or unable to comply with any credentialing requirement because of religious or health/medical/disability related restrictions, employee must immediately notify Vyaire Medical’s Human Resources Department to discuss possible reasonable accommodations regarding those restrictions.)
