The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Finance Manager - Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most

innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Providing financial insights for operational finance teams around standard cost development, manufacturing variance reporting,

  • inventory control and reporting.

  • Support weekly manufacturing variance reporting.

  • Work with internal partners to develop meaningful operational reports and metrics.

  • Support annual standard cost development and update process ensuring consistency in standard cost development and

  • inventory revaluation.

  • Support annual financial planning process for manufacturing sites.

  • Support quarterly forecasting updates for the manufacturing sites.

  • Develop ad hoc analyses and track efficiency/savings as it relates to manufacturing performance and site initiatives

  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure monthly results are well-understood, appropriately assessed for improvement

  • opportunities and in-line with forecasts.

  • Coordinate with the corporate controller’s organization to ensure proper financial reporting and audit support within the manufacturing site.

  • Ensure team is providing investigation and explanation of variances to Plan and Forecast for all areas of responsibility.

  • Work with the operational staff and IT and other functional groups to identify, recommend and implement streamlined and automated processes

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who have the following required qualifications:

  • BA in Accounting, Economics or related area, MBA a plus

  • 7+ years cost accounting, financial reporting and FP&A experience, particularly in full absorption accounting and manufacturing variance planning

  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or consumer product company

  • Strong knowledge base in variance accounting and standard cost development

  • Experience as a member of a team or a leader implementing internal control and process improvements, particularly around

  • inventory control

  • Experience working in a fully integrated ERP/GL system

  • Experience working in a data warehouse system

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Professional and positive communication skills; ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-financial people

  • Demonstrated ability to work and lead cross-functionally

Travel: May include up to 10%

comprehensive benefits package that includes various options to meet the diverse needs of our employees. Base range in California for the Finance Manager is $100,300 to $150,500. Additional benefits offered include medical, dental, vision, paid leaves, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays and potential for tuition reimbursement.
