Global Product Manager Digital Solutions

Our products and software solutions provide diagnostic data applications for pulmonary function testing to improve patient’s life. As a Global Product Manager Digital Solutions , you co-own various product lines and you are working closely together with the Sr. Global Product Manager Software & IT Integration. Being the subject matter expert for your products, you are responsible for managing all requirements related to your product lines including product related internal and external stakeholder support. You work closely together with the product management team and other departments, such as R&D, Medical Affairs, and QARA. You lead upstream marketing activities and you are engaged in strategic portfolio planning, as well as developing effective promotional programs to drive growth for your product fields. You identify and manage key opinion leader relationships and serve as a strategic portfolio and product subject matter expert. To be successful, you would need to have a global understanding of the healthcare market, new product development process of medical devices, a keen understanding of the value of clinical informatics and data, and ideally experience with respiratory care. The product lines co-owned by you are our future digital health platforms as well as existing ones, and you will support driving our organization to grow in Software as a Service (SaaS).

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in computer sciences or engineering related discipline, MBA preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in software development and software definition processes, ideally in the medical industry

  • Proven track record in executing the full software lifecycle for complex software products together or within R&D teams. Ideally both in on-premise and cloud-based environments

  • Previous experience and success in transforming a business to SaaS business would be beneficial in this role

Knowledge & skills:

  • Fluent in English and German

  • Good attention to technical detail, analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking

  • Must be positive, professional, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work with minimal supervision in a multi-cultural and matrix organisation

  • Excellent presentation and persuasive communication skills

Objectives:

Manage and drive Vyaire’s expertise in current and new software solutions including SaaS and IT integration to successfully support all product lines during their entire product lifecycle.

Essential Duties (Primary Tasks):

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical product management of digital solutions including product life cycle and software portfolio management

  • Driving digital solutions and existing software to the next level: SaaS and cloud business

  • Support of the internal organizational transformation to SaaS-selling

  • Identification of global customer needs and market trends

  • Competition monitoring and analysis

  • Definition and prioritization of software requirements and features, incl. testable user stories for existing software and new digital solutions

  • Data analysis of hardware and software operations to identify development needs, using both internal and customer data

  • Together with the MarCom team, definition and creation of promotion materials, sales messaging, and competitive objection handling; product positioning

  • Providing expert consultation to internal and external stakeholders

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Support and attend tradeshows, workshops and other live events

  • Visit important customers

  • Provide consultation to colleagues related to software and IT integration, as well as related products and services

  • Support business development initiatives

  • Up to 25% global travel; valid driver’s license and good driving records required

  • Home office possible for 1-2 days per week; office location in Höchberg/Germany
